Lunch: Lunches are normally arranged at the Cambodian restaurants near the scenic spots. Your tour guides will order food according to your appetite. Most are Cambodian dishes, and some are modified to fit westerners' tastes.
Dinner: Same as lunch. If you prefer to not eat Cambodian food, Cruises Mekong River suggests you have dinner on your own. Your local tour guide can recommend some good western restaurants in the area.

Luang Prabang Sightseeing Holiday Full Itinerary:
Day 1: Luang Prabang Arrival
Welcome to the spiritual capital of Laos, Luang Prabang! Meet with your guide and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy some time at your leisure. At the end of the day, climb the 328 steps to the top of Mount Phousi to enjoy a panoramic view of the city and the surrounding countryside. En-route back to your hotel, stop by the evening hilltribe market.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 2: Pak Ou Cave - Luang Prabang (B)
After breakfast, transfer to pier for a cruise up the Mekong. Before cruising, start your morning with a visit to, Wat Xieng Thong, before continuing upstream to the Pak Ou Caves home to thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues. Stop on the way back at Ban Xang Hay, a village specializing in making rice alcohol. This afternoon, you will embark on a city tour with your local guide. Visit the former Royal Palace, now the National Museum, continue to Wat Mai and then on to Wat Sensoukarahm, built in 1718. Today concludes with a visit to the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Center (TAEC).
Optional: Attend a performance at the Royal Ballet Theatre. Founded in 2002 in cooperation with the Institute of Cultural Research, the Ballet aims to preserve this important aspect of Lao cultural heritage.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 3: Luang Prabang - Kuang Si - Luang Prabang (B)
After breakfast, visit Wat Visoun, the holiest temple in the city, continue on to Wat Aham then to Wat That where the ashes of King Sisavang Vong are interred inside the large central stupa.This afternoon, visit the refreshing waters of the Kuang Si Waterfalls in the jungle where the dense woods surrounding the falls are filled with wildlife. On the return to Luang Prabang your time spent at the Ethnology Center will come in useful when you visit two ethnic villages. This evening, embark on the Nava Mekong boat, for a leisurely cruise down and up the Mekong River, while entertained by a live band and traditional Lao dances performed by artists from nearby villages.

Day 4: Luang Prabang Departure (B)
After your breakfast, enjoy some free time at leisure before transferring to the airport for your onward flight. Time permitting we suggest you take the complimentary e-bikes today; you will be touring independently but equipped with a detailed map. Continue your ride to Ock Pop Tock. This non-profit organization seeks to preserve traditional weaving techniques, a trade which was once an important source of income for many Lao families but is slowly fading out as modern technology has evolved.
