Please be note that for the home stay, the meal will be cook by the house owner and they are well-trained for hygiene as well as prepare for good recipes

Breakfast:  Each breakfast will be served in your hotel. Maily Buffet breakfast selections include both Vietnamese and Western dishes to meet every diner's taste.

Lunch:  Lunches are normally arranged at the Vietnamese restaurants near the scenic spots. Your tour guides will order food according to your appetite. Most are Vietnamese dishes, and some are modified to fit westerners' tastes.

Dinner:  Same as lunch. If you prefer to not eat Vietnamese food, Cruises Mekong River suggests you have dinner on your own. Your local tour guide can recommend some good western restaurants in the area.

Day 1: Hanoi

Arrive into Hanoi and check into the hotel. The day is at your leisure for you to start seeing Hanoi.
 
Day 2: Hanoi Full Day City Tour (B/L)


Temple of Literture Cruising-Halong-Bay cao-son Hill tribe Market


Enjoy a city tour of Hanoi, taking in its rich history, museums, the rambling Old Quarter and the many parks and lakes. In the evening, sample some of Hanoi’s finest cuisine before experiencing a traditional water puppet theatre performance.
 
Day 3: Hanoi - Sapa (B/)

Spend the day at leisure to explore Hanoi’s shopping and café culture, before boarding the overnight sleeper train north to Sapa in the evening.
 
Day 4: Sapa (B/L)

At an elevation of 1600 metres, Sapa is a delightful former French hill station situated in the mountainous region of Vietnam’s northwest, close to the Chinese border. The region is home to many ethnic minority groups each wearing their traditional, colourful attire. Today, take a guided walk through emerald rice paddies and tiny hill tribe villages. The afternoon is spent exploring the fabulous markets selling traditional art and crafts, embroidery and silver.
 
Day 5: Sapa - Hanoi (B/L)

After breakfast, commence with a short hike along a narrow trail through beautiful gardens and lush pine forests. Pass through the Black H'mong ethnic minority village of Ma Tra, and continue through rice paddy fields and spectacular scenery. Take a midday rest for lunch at a local ethnic school before continuing the afternoon trek to the Red Dao minority village of Ta Phin. Visit a workshop and a nearby cave before transferring by road back to Sapa. (Today's trek is approximately 10 km) then take a night train back to Hanoi.

Day 6: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)

This morning, a short transfer takes you to Halong Bay for an early cruise. Set sail through the bay and while enjoying lunch. Take in the scenery of thousands of sculpted limestone islands rising from the waves like dragons' teeth. After lunch, cruise to the inside of magical landscape of Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, and Sung Sot Cave. Enjoy sunset from the top of the Titop Mountain or you can take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnels with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board the boat, enjoy dinner as the sun sets.

Day 7: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B,L,D)

Rise to the sound of the ocean coming to life for another lovely day. Before a very early breakfast, you will have an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay while cruising back to the Halong dock to drive back Hanoi. Upon arriving in Hanoi early this afternoon, the rest of the day is at your leisure before meeting for a farewell dinner..

Day 8: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/)

Transfer to Hanoi for your flight home.
